So if I want a Renault 12 Coupe, I need to go to Romania?

Mmm, dacia. My grandpa has a 95 1310. I drive it whenever I end up back in the home land.

Cheap though. On the other hand, thirty year old car that wasn’t much good when new.

This one’s just a 1300, but it’s a mint example that’s done over 800k km in the hands of its first owner.
I’m impressed!

Yep, cheap and seemingly quite common. I wonder if I could get one registered in Norway. Don’t think I’ll try.

That’s a lot of km.
Also it looks more like an R12 than an R12 does.

Someone say...
Dacia?
Here’s a Canadian one. Yes, they sold Dacias here. They sold HORRIBLY compared to similarly priced Ladas, Skodas, and Hyundais. I’ve never seen one in the wild.
